Made In USA
A Rural Manufacturing Perspective
David, founder of IT GuidePoint Corporation, grew up in a rural town where fields stretched alongside factory yards, each quietly holding up the other. That mix of agriculture and manufacturing upbringing shaped his view over 25 years in the sector—long enough to see it thin out. When a plant shuts down or moves overseas, the jobs vanish fast, but the real loss spreads slower—through the local diner on Main Street, the parts supplier down the road, the shop building machines for the line, even the local churches. Numbers get tossed around about how far that damage reaches, but David knows it firsthand: tax dollars shrink, schools and safety feel it, and rural places like his old home lose a piece of themselves.
Who We Are
IT GuidePoint started in 2008 with a straightforward goal: technology should work for the business it serves, not the other way around. We help mid-market companies and divisions of bigger firms—the ones often passed over by global consultancies or regional accountants. Our clients come first, especially the manufacturers we support across America.
Why It Matters
David gets that not everything can stay stateside. But he’s certain—rooted in that farm-and-factory perspective—that keeping a solid manufacturing base here, with skilled people running it, holds communities together, especially outside the big cities. It’s why he’s all in for reshoring, coaxing production back to rebuild what’s slipped away. That’s what IT GuidePoint is about. We see the bigger picture: manufacturing here keeps things stable, puts money back into local hands, and shows why buying American still counts.
How We Help
Our IT services are made for manufacturers who want to thrive in America. We’re vendor independent, sorting out ERP solutions that fit your needs, not ours. We help you plan and select ERP systems that optimize data use, boost customer and employee satisfaction, and keep operations smooth—practical stuff that helps you stand up to global pressure without leaving home. We’re here to bolster American industry, one client at a time.
